Women's Tennis loses at Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Connecticut College College women's tennis team defeated Bates 7-2 on Sunday afternoon. The camels were led by Beret Remak who won her match at first singles and teamed with Lisa Steckmest to win at No. 1 doubles. 

Other double winners for the Camels were Laura Demoreville and Amanda Poe.

Emma Nochomovitz '07 (Cleveland, Ohio) won at third singles for the Bobcats. Liz Currie '06 (Yarmouth, Maine) and Cecilia Grissa '08 (Doylestown, Pa.) won their match at No. 3 doubles.

Bates will face Tufts on the road on Tuesday.
