2004 LEWISTON, Maine – The Bates College women's tennis team lost to Middlebury on Sunday morning, 9-0. Claire Smyser, Amy Roche, Amanda Berck and Emily Holick won singles and doubles matches for the Panthers. Liz Currie '06 (Yarmouth, Maine) led Bates, forcing Lauren Ready to a super tiebreaker at fourth singles in a 6-7, 6-0 (10-7) loss. Bates will wrap up the fall portion of the season this weekend at the NEWITT Championships at Amherst. |
