Class of 1957 reunion 2007
Edited by Christine Terp Madsen '73

Class Secretary: Arlene Gardner Foulds, 115 Marshall Street, Torrington CT 06790, arlene01@snet.net

Class President: Paul Steinberg, 106 Peninsula Dr., Babylon NY 11702-3336, imasearch@aol.com

Correction: The obituary for Robert Chumbook ’55 in the Summer 2004 Bates Magazine incorrectly stated that his former wife, Jennifer Walker Chumbook ’57, survives him. She passed away in 1996. It was an editor’s error, not the class secretary’s.

District Court Judge Joseph Welch was honored by the Bar Assn. of Norfolk County (Mass.) for his four decades of service to the legal profession. He received the association’s highest honor, the Libertine Award, named for a former association president.
