Pat Chant keeps track of the waters around Leadville, Colo., where he runs a private guide service. His recent customers included Jeff Brown.... Eric Chasalow won a fall 2004 fellowship at the prestigious MacDowell Colony in Peterborough, N.H. A panel of music experts chose the fellowship — as a press release noted, “talent is the sole criterion for admission to the colony.” Eric is professor of composition at Brandeis and also directs BEAMS, the Brandeis Electro-Acoustic Music Studio. In 2003, he won an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Music, which honors outstanding artistic achievement and acknowledges a composer “who has arrived at his or her own voice.” Earlier in 2003, he released a CD of chamber, electronic, and orchestral music, Left to His Own Devices.... Dan Isaac has formed DHI Management Consulting Inc. to serve small and mid-size organizations in Maine. The company offers management assistance to organizations to “help them achieve their objectives in realistic, ethical, professional, and socially responsible ways.”... Keith Taylor was recently elected vice president of Marblehead Savings Bank in Massachusetts. He continues to maintain his optometry practice.
