Unfree Labor and the Production of Language: An Exhibition of Words: The exhibition showcases artifacts reflecting the Creole languages that arose as a result of slavery and the African diaspora. Curated in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr. Day observances by Baltasar Fra-Molinero, professor of Spanish, and Czerny Brasuell, director of multicultural affairs and the Multicultural Center at Bates.
