A Heavy Grace: Paintings and Sculpture by Portland artist Daniel Minter, who designed the U.S. Postal Service’s 2004 Kwanzaa postage stamp and who weaves traditional and contemporary approaches to African diasporic and African American culture into his work. The Multicultural Center sponsors this Black History Month exhibition.

Photography of Griffith Jerome Davis, the late photojournalist and U.S. foreign service officer. This exhibition offered in honor of Martin Luther King Day and Black History Month includes images of the civil rights movement, the independence movement in Africa and African American life in segregated Atlanta, Ga.
