Holly Ewing

Holly Ewing is appointed as a scientist within the Environmental Studies Program where she teaches classes in soils, water, ecosystems, and traditional ecological knowledge.  Her research investigates ecosystem development and linkages among atmospheric, terrestrial, and aquatic ecosystems.  Her commitment to making science more accessible and welcoming to the full diversity of people in society have led her to explore different methods in teaching and mentoring and to writing on the culture and practice of science.
