As a very recent graduate of Reed College, I have yet to start my own research. In the past I have studied theoretical models of spark branching and worked on measuring the photothermal deflection signal created by the heating of flames with a dye laser.
Outside the office, I play Irish music, dance, romp in the woods, and drink large amounts of coffee.
