LEWISTON, Maine -- The Bates College Orchestra, conducted by William Matthews, Alice Swanson Esty Professor of Music, will perform music by Cesar Franck, Astor Piazzola and Jennifer Higdon at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, in the Olin Arts Center Concert Hall on Russell Street.
