Elke Morris is a photographer whose work has been exhibited widely throughout the United States and in Germany. In Maine, venues for showing her work have included the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Portland Museum of Art, and the Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Morris has received numerous awards and grants and her images are included in several museum collections. She holds an M.A. and M.F.A. degree from the University of New Mexico and teaches the photography classes, including digital imaging, offered by the Art and Visual Culture department at Bates College.
