Juxtaposing photographs of Bates today with those from the Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library, the Sesquicentennial edition of the annual Bates Calendar<\/em> charts a path from the College’s earliest years to present times. As you can see in this slide show, it’s not a straight line \u2014 but then again, what adventure doesn’t have a few twists?<\/p>\n
