{"id":1874,"date":"2020-10-21T15:15:33","date_gmt":"2020-10-21T19:15:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/accounting\/?page_id=1874"},"modified":"2025-05-29T10:53:24","modified_gmt":"2025-05-29T14:53:24","slug":"cares-act-heerf-reports","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/accounting\/cares-act-heerf-reports\/","title":{"rendered":"HEERF Reports: CARES Act, CRRSA Act, and ARPA Allocations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was enacted into law as a $2 trillion national economic rescue package, with approximately $14 billion of the overall funding reserved for students and higher education institutions through the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF).
