Key areas of responsibility include: auditing and financial reporting;\u00a0ensuring the\u00a0defined use of funds in accordance with Federal, State and College policies and procedures; and planning, implementing, and executing measures of internal control to ensure the highest levels of integrity are maintained in the safekeeping of the College&#8217;s\u00a0financial assets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mission of the Accounting Department is to\u00a0support the programs and activities of the College and to serve as\u00a0a resource and business partner with\u00a0the internal and external Bates community by providing timely, accurate and actionable\u00a0financial data.
