What do you do with an A.B. in music? Well for Liam, it did not involve moving to New York and meeting a bunch of puppets and Gary Coleman. Instead, after having worked in the Office of Admission at Wesleyan University as a student for four years, it meant moving further north from his hometown of Houston, Texas, and joining the amazing team at Bates College. While conducting his own college search process as a first-generation student, Liam knew about two schools: UT Austin and Texas A&M. Everything changed after being named a Questbridge finalist. Thanks to that life changing opportunity, Liam was exposed to more schools than he could imagine, and now hopes that he can give students who are looking to broaden their horizons the same access.
While Lindholm House doesn’t have a proscenium stage or spotlights, Liam knows that “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players.” So Liam continues to play, and sing, and tell the stories of Bates students that he’s had the honor of meeting. When you don’t find him in the office, you might find Liam eating his way through every locale, cooking, playing video games, and belting it out in carpool karaoke.
