Special Events<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bates Admission hosts a number of special events throughout the year, including Summer Visit Days and Fall Visit Days for prospective students, as well as Bates Beginnings for admitted students. Before you schedule your campus visit, consider attending one of these special events that offer unique opportunities for students and their families and supporters to take a closer look at the Bates campus, academics, award-winning dining, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spending time on campus is a great way to get to know Bates. During your visit, observe the day-to-day life of students and enjoy views of the historic quad, the glass walls of the Bonney Science Center, and the natural beauty of Lake Andrews (affectionately known as the Puddle).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Want more time on campus?<\/strong> Our office provides meal tickets to eat in Bates’ Commons at 11:00am or 1:00pm. We recommend checking Commons’ hours<\/a> to make sure it is open on the day of your visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
