How do you connect what you do with who you are? How do you find purpose, not just in your life but in your work? These questions are central to a Bates education and helping students answer them is the mission of the Bates Center for Purposeful Work. Join us for a lively discussion between:

  • Moderator Allen Delong, Senior Associate Dean for the Center for Purposeful Work and Career Development
  • Mark Turnage P’19, parent of recent Bates alumna, Mary Buford Turnage ’19, and Purposeful Work Core Employer.
  • A Bates student will also join the panel to share their own internship experience and how it helped clarify their understanding of their future career, but the details have not yet been confirmed.

$15 per person; $10 for alumni classes 2010-2019.

Registration includes hors d’oeuvres and a hosted bar.
