Nancy Ingersoll Fiddler \u201978 began her cross-country skiing journey at Bates. The journey led to 14 national championship titles, two Olympic teams, and 4 World Championship teams. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She remains very active in the sport and recently collaborated with a group of women Olympic cross-country skiers on the book, Trail to Gold,<\/em> a Journey of 53 Women Skiers, <\/em>which details a 50-year history of the sport in the United States. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
