All are invited to a centering moment led by The Multifaith Chaplaincy this Veterans Day, November 11th, at 9 a.m. in Bates Veterans Plaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together we will hear reflective readings and interfaith prayers, observe silence, and share in the ritual of laying rocks of remembrance on the memorial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, a basket of rocks will remain at the foot of the memorial from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. if you would like to have a quiet moment to lay a rock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Patriots Fund<\/em> was established by Barbara Remick Newhouse \u201966 in recognition and in honor of United States active military service veterans and their families. The Fund provides financial aid for the education of veteran family members who attend Bates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
