She spent 18 years as a journalist and restaurant critic for The News-Press in her<br>hometown of Fort Myers, Florida. Her first book, \u201cThe Mango Tree: A Memoir of Fruit, Florida, and Felony,\u201d published in April 2024 and was called \u201csweet, sharp\u201d by The New York Times.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you would like to participate but find the cost of the book
