Bates Swim & Dive is back<\/strong> – and we\u2019re already making waves! The deck\u2019s buzzing, the laughs are loud, and the Bobcats are bringing serious energy into the season. From early mornings to open swims, this group is locked in, fired up, and ready to go. Let\u2019s take a look at what\u2019s been making a splash this fall!👇<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Community swim lessons: <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

In September, our two-week community swim lesson program sold out<\/em><\/strong> in <\/em>under three minutes!<\/em><\/strong> Every year, our swimmers get to teach one-on-one lessons to kids from Lewiston-Auburn – it\u2019s one of our favorite traditions<\/strong>. The smiles, learning, the proud high-fives at the end – it\u2019s the kind of experience that reminds us what being part of this community is all about. Just look at these smiles!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recruit weekend:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

The team put on an amazing recruit weekend<\/strong>, we couldn\u2019t have been more proud.\u00a0 From heading to Wallingford’s Apple Orchard for some good times with cider, corn mazes, and goats, to a full-team scavenger hunt sprint across campus, the recruits had a blast meeting the team and learning about Bates! There were even rumors of a dance party <\/strong>breaking out at the team BBQ! We had 8 men and 8 women on campus – all of who could help us continue our tradition of excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n

Preseason energy:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

After four weeks of open swim, this team is showing exactly what Bates Swim & Dive is all about – effort, energy, and heart. The seniors set the pace with their leadership, and the rest of the group followed with intensity that never let up. The intention was positive, and the chemistry grew stronger by the day. The wait is over – it\u2019s time for the best team in the country<\/strong> to make its official return to the pool!<\/p>\n\n\n
