Taking place at 6:30 on the Coram Library porch on the Historic Quad, at College Street and Campus Avenue, these concerts are open to the public at no cost.<\/p><\/section>

Bates Dance Festival is a unique opportunity to have a complete immersion experience as a core component of the Bates Dance experience. The Bates Dance Festival brings together an international community of choreographers, performers, educators and students in a cooperative community to study, perform and create new work.<\/p><\/section>

Theater Productions<\/a><\/h5>\n

The Theater Department annually produces more than a dozen plays, films, dance concerts, and other performance events in its three theaters. These require the participation of large numbers of students, both majors and non-majors. The department invites all members of the campus community to join in the creation of these events.<\/p><\/section>
