{"id":4382,"date":"2018-08-03T11:07:13","date_gmt":"2018-08-03T15:07:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/security\/?page_id=4382"},"modified":"2025-09-12T08:17:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-12T12:17:15","slug":"bobcat-express-reservation-request-form","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/campus-safety\/bobcat-express-reservation-request-form\/","title":{"rendered":"Bobcat Express Medical Transportation Request Form"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"page-title entry-title\">\u00a0<\/h1>\n<div class=\"wpcontent-area\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdUujq5gsP6bpdHJAMT5_r-hIxcywKAlm3HIhSloB0ZLPhQ0A\/viewform?usp=header\"><strong>The Bobcat Express Medical Transportation Request Form<\/strong><\/a> is intended for doctor and medical appointments, and physical therapy appointments <strong>only.\u00a0<\/strong>The Bobcat Express operates this service, during the academic year, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. &#8211; 6:00 p.m. Whenever possible, please make your appointments during these times.\u00a0 Transportation for medical appointments beyond our regular service area (Lewiston\/Auburn) or outside our listed hours of operation cannot be accommodated.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There may be times during inclement weather, vehicle breakdowns and other unforeseen circumstances\u00a0 where shuttle services have to be amended, delayed or canceled.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>This form should be filled out at least 48 hours prior to your medical appointment<\/strong>.\u00a0Bobcat Express reservations are processed\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1771094913\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Monday<\/span><\/span>\u00a0through\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_1771094914\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Friday<\/span><\/span>, during regular college business hours. Reservations received outside these times will be processed the next business day.\u00a0 Requests submitted outside normal office hours, with little or no prior notice,\u00a0 will likely not be received or processed in time for your appointment so please plan ahead.\u00a0 For requests where 48 hour notice is not possible, call Campus Safety (207) 786-6254 to discuss transportation options.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Your reservation is not complete until you receive a Google Calendar event<\/strong>. Upon receipt,\u00a0 check the listed details for accuracy and direct any questions or concerns regarding the reservation to the Transportation Coordinator (207) 786-6337.
