LEWISTON, Maine \u00f3 Bates College edged Bowdoin College Saturday for its sixth straight title in the annual State of Maine Men\u00eds Outdoor Track & Field Championships, on a gorgeous day at the Russell Street Track. The Bobcats scored 226 points, 21 points ahead of the Polar Bears for first place.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The outdoor track and field programs compete on an eight-lane bi-radial track, featuring a Mondo Super-X surface that wraps around the home pitch of the Bates men’s and women’s soccer teams.
