Class of 2024 Programming
We are excited to work with members of the class of 2024 to develop class-specific programming in the upcoming academic year. We recognize that it was difficult for many students in the Class of 2024 to build community and connection last academic year while following public health guidelines to keep the Bates community safe. Heading into the upcoming academic year, Campus partners such as Campus Life, Residence Life, the Harward Center for Community Partnerships, and the Multifaith Chaplaincy are committed to continuing to support the class of 2024 in building community and connection with each other and the broader Bates community. There will be special class events specifically for 2024, and as always, we will work with students on an individual basis to connect them with other students, clubs, and organizations to support them in forming meaningful relationships that sustain and endure.
Building on our Class of 2024 First-Year Fridays last academic year, Campus Life will offer a variety of experiences specifically tailored to sophomores with the goal of encouraging long-lasting bonds among members of the Class of 2024. This will include on-campus social events and programs and off-campus trips. This will also include close collaboration with various student clubs and organizations to make student programming ideas come to fruition. Students can expect to learn more about what Campus Life has to offer later this summer.
