The Office of Campus Life proudly enables students to explore the Lewiston-Auburn area, and also provides ways to travel to the cities of Portland, ME and Boston, MA.

Weekend Bus Trips

The Office of Campus Life offers free (except for the $10 Boston trip) bus trips to areas around the beautiful state of Maine.  Our bus trips enable you to visit Portland, Freeport, Ogunquit, Camden, Brunswick, and more!  Check it out!

Getting Around Locally

Campus Life Vans

The Office of Campus Life has three vans that are available for recognized student groups to sign out.  Two of these vans, one which can accommodate seven people and the other eleven people, and are available for free for a maximum of five hours. In addition, there is an eleven person van that can be reserved for $30 for five hours or $60 for a 24-hour block. Drivers must be van certified by Bates Security & Campus Safety or of the age of 25+ to drive college owned or rented vehicles. Lewiston-Auburn Shuttle

The Office of Campus Life provides a free shuttle to key places in the Lewiston-Auburn area each weekend while school is in session.  The shuttle runs Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00-12:00, and during the day on Sunday from 12:00-6:00.  The shuttle picks up right outside of Chase Hall at 56 Campus Avenue.
