The Bates Discordians are excited to welcome you to the first annual BatesCon! BatesCon is taking place on May 18th from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Bates’ College Gray Cage. We have lots in store for this event that you will not want to miss!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  2. An artist and vendor section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. An open gaming area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scheduled interactive activities throughout the day.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. A keynote and panels from professionals in the gaming industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. An Extra-Life campaign area.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    We are excited to announce the current list of vendors and artists<\/a> that will be at Batescon! This list is still growing, but we already have a wonderful line up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Cosplay<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    We welcome cosplay at this convention! We ask that we avoid cosplays with weapons that are realistic, please have them clearly marked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Campus Map and Parking Info<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Convention Center is at the Clifton Dagget Gray Athletic Building and speaker events will be occurring in Chase Hall at specific times. Both of these locations are marked on the map. Please note the designated visitor parking spots highlighted on the map below. These visitor spots (especially those by Merrill Gymnasium) are good parking solutions if street parking is not available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
