Students interested in applying for prominent nationally competitive awards such as the Fulbright, Rhodes and Watson should contact Robert Strong at rstrong@bates.edu and visit the Graduate Fellowship Committee’s homepage.

Grants for Individuals – Michigan State University Libraries provides a comprehensive, searchable database of fellowship opportunities.

Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Junior Fellows Program – Carnegie Junior Fellows work as research assistants to the Endowment’s senior associates.  current seniors alums in their first year after graduation may apply.  Applications should be available from Robert Strong in mid-October and are due to the Bates Nominating Committee by the first Monday after Thanksgiving.  Contact Robert Strong at rstrong@bates.edu for more information or click here for a program description.
