Besides contributing to a more inclusive classroom, expanding beyond gender (and other!) boundaries and binarisms can enrich possibilities for creativity, learning, understanding, and joy. In Part One of several workshops organized by CITL Faculty Fellow Erica Rand (Gender and Sexuality Studies\/Art and Visual Culture), short presentations by faculty in widely varied fields about their own creative and research practices will introduce a conversation about the generative potentials of thinking beyond binarisms in the work we can do and facilitate.
