Director: Lindsey Hamilton, PhD<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Hamilton is a Bates alum (Class of 2005), who is thrilled to return to campus. Lindsey (she\/her) is an experienced neuroscientist and educator who has championed the use of evidence-based inclusive pedagogical practices to help students learn, persist, succeed, and ultimately thrive. 

Areas of expertise:<\/strong> metacognition and reflective practice, the science of teaching and learning, inclusive pedagogy for equitable learning, assessment<\/td>		\"\"<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Associate Director: Anna Wells Piotti Castonguay, PhD<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Castonguay is a Bowdoin alum, from central Maine, and goes by Wells (she\/they) professionally. Although a language pedagogy scholar and researcher, Wells also has experience as a diversity, equity, and inclusion instructional consultant across disciplines. Teaching through controversy, creating community agreements, navigating academic accommodations, and rethinking who and what we teach through a DEIJB+ lens\u2014these are the conversations that bring Wells joy.
