Zofia Ahmad ’19 was accepted into the Central Eurasian Studies PhD program at the University of Indiana, Bloomington! Zofia was offered a five-year fellowship from a combination of departments\/institutes. She is planning to focus on ancient\/medieval Central Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zofia earned her MA at the University of Warwick in Global and Comparative History, where she wrote a dissertation comparing and contrasting the socio-political structure of three nomadic empires; the Scythians, the Huns, and the Khazars. She then completed a MA in Economics at the University of British Columbia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
