Club/Org Meetings – Cleaning Protocol

Facility Services has provided commonly accessible, clearly labeled cleaning kits in campus buildings. Using these kits, clubs/orgs must plan to clean and disinfect commonly used furniture, such as tables, chairs, and desks, prior to and after club meetings and other activities at which custodial services are not present. This process will take about 15 minutes – please plan accordingly.

Please note these instructions are also posted alongside the kits for easy reference.

  1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear proper PPE. Gloves are provided with the kit.
  2. Clean: Clean surface completely with provided all-purpose cleaner.
  3. Disinfect: Apply disinfectant to surfaces.
  4. Let sit for 10 minutes: allow surface to air dry. Do not wipe surface.
