Track and Field Challenge

Dear Members of the Bates Track and Field Family,

The New Year marks a new season for Bates Track and Field. Our student-athletes have made their way back to campus after a well-deserved break and are anxious to begin competing against some of the best talent in the country.

Competing and succeeding at the highest level, however, can be logistically complicated and expensive. That is why we are thrilled to announce the Bates Track and Field Giving Challenge! A generous donor has pledged $10,000 to match dollar-for-dollar all gifts made to the Track and Field teams before June 30. We hope you will consider making a gift to support our programs and take this opportunity to double your impact on Bates Track and Field. All gifts, no matter the size, go directly to Bates Track and Field and will be instrumental in helping improve the quality of the Bates experience for our student-athletes. To participate in the challenge, visit the link below and indicate “Men’s Track and Field” or “Women’s Track and Field” in the comments section of the online giving form.

Support the Bates Track and Field Challenge

We are so grateful to the generous donor who created this wonderful opportunity and to the members of the Bates Track and Field family for their ongoing support. The highlights in the slideshow below exemplify the ways gifts to Bates Track and Field helped the Bobcats excel in 2017. With this $10,000 challenge, we look forward to providing our student-athletes with the equipment, coaching staff, facilities, and travel resources they need to succeed. In the words of President Spencer, “It is time to do more, with more!”

Please feel welcome to contact either of us if you have any questions about the challenge. We hope to see you at a meet sometime this season!

Go Bobcats!
