Continuing in the new tradition created in 2004, each honorary degree recipient will speak at the 2005 Commencement ceremonies. Five honorary degree recipients will speak at the College’s 139th Commencement: composer Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Anderson<\/strong>, theoretical biologist Lynn Margulis<\/strong>, entrepreneur and engineer Paul Soros<\/strong> and his wife, Daisy M. Soros<\/strong>, and NBC Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the citation, each\u00a0presenter\u00a0builds the case for conferring the academic degree upon the honorand.\u00a0Then, with wisdom,\u00a0wit and brevity, each honorand\u00a0addresses the graduates and\u00a0audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
