Cook chicken until cooked throughout.<\/li><li>Add oyster sauce, stir-fry sauce, water and sugar. Stir to coat. Toss with scallions.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bates Italian Almond Cookies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Makes 48 cookies<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>1 \u00bd c. butter or margarine<\/li><li>1 c. light brown sugar<\/li><li>1 c. granulated sugar<\/li><li>2\u00bd tsp. vanilla extract<\/li><li>2\u00bd tsp. almond extract<\/li><li>2 eggs<\/li><li>4 c. flour<\/li><li>1\u00bd tsp. baking soda<\/li><li>1\u00bd tsp. salt<\/li><li>3\u00bd oz. sliced almonds<\/li><li>Milk and powdered sugar for icing (see video)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Preheat oven to 300 degrees.<\/li><li>In a large bowl, cream together the butter or margarine and the sugars until light and fluffy.<\/li><li>Slowly add eggs, beating well with each addition.<\/li><li>Stir in both extracts, scraping the bowl as you go.<\/li><li>Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture.<\/li><li>Scoop onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.<\/li><li>Bake for 8\u201310 minutes or until light brown.<\/li><li>Drizzle icing onto the cookies, then sprinkle with sliced almonds.
