Kevin Kavookjian, M.D.

Kevin graduated from Hobart College in 1993 with a major in Asiankkavookjian Studies, and completed the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Program at New York University in 1999. He earned a medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2004, and completed residency training in psychiatry at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2008.

He relocated to Maine in 2008 where he eventually became Chief of Psychiatry at Southern Maine Medical Center. He joined St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in 2011, where he now serves as the Medical Director for the Outpatient Services Division. He is both a hospital-based and private practice psychiatrist with a special interest in electro-convulsive therapy, mood and anxiety disorders, as well as borderline personality disorder.
