This allows the restriction of certain activities, as well as assignment submission, to certain groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating Groups in Lyceum Course &#8211; Watch Video<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/e6e053aac8d143e89753798d7947489b\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.loom.com\/sessions\/thumbnails\/e6e053aac8d143e89753798d7947489b-41e5fd3e880b485f-full-play.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the course page, click on Participants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the drop-down menu, select Groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Create Group to initiate the creation of a new group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a name for the group and fill in any optional fields as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on Save Changes to save the group details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the newly created group is selected, then click on Add\/Remove Users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review the list of members displayed. Use the search function if needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on a user&#8217;s name to add them to the group, then click the Add button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a user is added accidentally, select them in the group members column and click on remove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To add multiple users, use SHIFT or CTRL to select more than one, then click add.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once all users are added to the group, click back to groups to complete the process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creating Groupings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Groupings are <em>groups of groups<\/em>. If you have a course with multiple groups, this option allows you to categorize those groups. For example, a course with weekly group assignments could utilize a grouping for each week that contains all the groups from that week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating Groupings &#8211; Watch Video<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.loom.com\/share\/66cbd76110694b9bbe29f168ca3eb171\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.loom.com\/sessions\/thumbnails\/66cbd76110694b9bbe29f168ca3eb171-563265b868ef6390-full-play.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click on the Participants link on the course page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>From the drop-down menu, select Groupings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on &#8220;Create Grouping&#8221; and give the grouping a name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the profile icon to add groups to the grouping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will see existing members, potential members, and group names.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sorting the Gradebook by Group<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Grader Report in Lyceum can be sorted by group.
