{"id":9743,"date":"2020-09-22T11:18:41","date_gmt":"2020-09-22T15:18:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/dining\/?page_id=9743"},"modified":"2026-02-26T12:21:02","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T17:21:02","slug":"cateringguidelines-placing-an-order","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/dining\/cateringguidelines-placing-an-order\/","title":{"rendered":"Placing An Order"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When requesting catering services, it is important to provide the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location, date and time of the event<\/li>\n<li>Number of people attending the event<\/li>\n<li>Type of service desired<\/li>\n<li>Department name, telephone number and e-mail address of person filing the reservation<\/li>\n<li>Department Org\/Fund Account Number<\/li>\n<li>Verification that the venue has been booked and set-up noted <strong>(<em>This should be arranged through the online Events Management System (EMS) or through the Dining, Conference and Campus Events Office at <a href=\"mailto:dcceinquiries@groups.bates.edu\">dcceinquiries@groups.bates.edu<\/a>). <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please Note: catering is not allowed in classroom spaces, but can be ordered for common areas, lounges and meeting rooms.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Floral arrangements, linen color and other specialty decor items desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To order catering, please fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/dining\/catering-request-form\"><strong>Catering Request Form<\/strong><\/a>.
