A webpage that we will update regularly that describes the Dean of Faculty&#8217;s work on equity and inclusion in academic affairs at Bates.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/dof\/new-requirement-race-power-privilege-and-colonialism\/\">New Curricular Requirement<\/a>. The faculty approved a new curricular requirement for Bates students addressing Race, Power, Privilege and Colonialism in international and domestic contexts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/dof\/hhmi-inclusive-excellence\/\">Inclusive Excellence in STEM:<\/a> A project that seeks to identify and remove barriers in academic pathways for all students by assessing and revising curricula and pedagogy in the sciences.
