Many Earth and Climate Sciences courses involve time outside the classroom. Field work ranges from bedrock mapping of mountains to monitoring on the Maine coastline.<\/p>\n

Bates Earth and Climate Sciences Students work in and are exposed to some of the most dynamic and beautiful places in the world.\u00a0 They are on the forefront of environmental research and are working towards answering global scale research questions.<\/p>\n\t\n\t
