Literature from Harvard University.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>She was most recently a Provost\u2019s Postdoctoral Fellow at Duke University, where she was housed in the Program in Women\u2019s Studies and taught a course on the historical memory of American slavery.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>She has also taught courses at Rutgers University, Pace University, and the Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>During her doctoral course of study, she was awarded both pre-doctoral and dissertation fellowships from the Ford Foundation,\u00a0a dissertation award from the Woodrow Wilson Foundation,\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p>visiting fellowships from the New York Public Library and the Hispanic Cultural Center,\u00a0as well as travel &amp;
