Equity and Inclusion Small Grant Application – Faculty and Staff Only

The Office of Equity and Inclusion is now accepting small grant applications from faculty and staff for Spring 2020 and Fall 2021. The small grant funding is available for up to $1500 per request until funds have been exhausted. The Equity and Inclusion small grants are meant to support faculty and staff in programming, professional development, consultants and keynotes that speak directly to equity and inclusion matters that align with the mission of the college and the Office of Equity and Inclusion in our commitment to advancing a campus climate that is welcoming, inclusive, equitable, accessible, socially and educationally just. These funds are limited and meant to supplement departmental/interdepartmental funds. We are not able to fund projects/programs in their entirety. Consideration will be given in the order they are received. Requests for projects and programs that are scheduled to occur in less than four weeks will not be considered.

  • Funds are available for up to $1500.
  • Describe the request for funding. Please include - title of project, name of presenter, name of conference as they apply; institutional impact across faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members; timeline, budget, campus collaborations and other funding. Preference will be given to proposals that show a diversity of audience impact and participants as well as appropriate lead time (minimum 4 weeks). No requests will be considered that do not have companion funding. Interdisciplinary and interdepartmental requests are encouraged.
  • Please share any websites that are applicable to this request, i.e speakers, consultants, conferences, etc.
