About
Pamela Johnson is a visual artist whose studio production includes oil and acrylic paintings, intaglio and digital prints, drawings and watercolors, artists’ books, and sculptural objects. She has exhibited widely in New England and the Midwest, and is the recipient of numerous grants and awards. At Bates College, Johnson advises senior theses in studio arts, teaches painting, drawing, and printmaking courses, an intermediate course titled Visual Meaning, and she has collaborated with faculty in Environmental Studies, the Japanese Program and the Philosophy Department.
