Penelope Jones’ geometric abstractions are disarmingly personal. Her work, combining formalist interests in light, color, and surface with an attention to the evocative qualities of paint, reveals a process both disciplined and intimate. Penelope has exhibited her work nationally, most recently at Zero Station in Portland, and at The Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport. She teaches painting and drawing.
