About

T.J. Rakitan is an applied microeconomist who specializes in environmental and natural resource economics. His current projects are focused on the economics of energy infrastructure, including work examining how land markets capitalize the benefits and costs of oil wells and wind turbines. Dr. Rakitan holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Iowa State University, an M.S. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California at Davis, and a B.A from the University of Puget Sound.
