Nayder"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lillian Nayder is Professor of English at Bates.\u00a0 She teaches courses on nineteenth-century British fiction, including \u201cJane Austen: Then and Now,\u201d \u201cThe Bront\u00ebs,\u201d and \u201cDickens Revised.\u201d\u00a0 Her seminar topics include \u201cThe Arctic Sublime\u201d and \u201cVictorian Crime Fiction.\u201d\u00a0 Her research interests center on Charles and Catherine Dickens, Wilkie Collins, and sensation fiction.\u00a0 Her most recent book, <em>The Other Dickens: A Life of Catherine Hogarth<\/em>, was published
