She is interested in the role of identity and representation in conflict resolution, and critical and feminist approaches to inclusive peace. Her current book project examines the peace process in Northern Ireland and specifically explores the gendered power dynamics of peace negotiations and the implications for enduring peace and stability. Prior to joining the Bates faculty, she completed her doctorate at The Fletcher School at Tufts University and served as a Visiting Researcher and Fellow at the Program on Negotiation at the Harvard Law School.
