Dear Colleagues,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the calendar turns to September 22 and the fall equinox tomorrow, a hello and a few brief notes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. A community Kudos for good uptake on our collective public health behavior: wearing face coverings, washing hands, and watching distance.\u00a0Thank you for your diligence!<\/li>
  2. We encourage employees to continue to use the COVID-19 Testing Center in Underhill; sign up on the\u00a0Garnet Gateway<\/a>. For those who haven’t tested, you’ll find it’s easy and efficient. I hope to see you there.<\/li>
  3. A reminder that flu shots will be offered free of charge to all Bates employees the week of October 5 in Underhill. Look for details from Ken Emerson.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    As you can see on the\u00a0dashboard<\/a>, through the end of last week the college performed more than 15,000 tests with two positive cases (both have since recovered). Our policies for employees remain in place, and are on the\u00a0HR Website<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
