{"id":4346,"date":"2011-06-06T11:47:24","date_gmt":"2011-06-06T15:47:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/entering\/?page_id=4346"},"modified":"2021-07-06T16:09:20","modified_gmt":"2021-07-06T20:09:20","slug":"id-cards","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bates.edu\/first-year-experience\/id-cards\/","title":{"rendered":"ID Cards"},"content":{"rendered":"<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>ID Cards<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>In advance of arriving for Orientation, you will provide a photo that you would like to be used for your student ID card, so that we can ensure that your ID card is ready for you upon check-in on Opening Day.<\/li>\n<li>Students must present a government issued photo ID (examples are: passport, state issued ID\u00a0or drivers license) to\u00a0pick up their ID upon arrival.<\/li>\n<li>Student ID Cards (BatesCard) are used to access all student residences, athletic facilities and some academic buildings. Access to student&#8217;s home dorm is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Access to all other student residences is 7:00 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.\u00a0Friday and\u00a0Saturday. Other access hours vary during the semester.
