Hello Class of 2029 and Transfer Students!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope that you are starting to get excited about coming to campus in late August! Please note this will be the last email we send to your non-Bates email address. Please be sure to check your Bates email on a regular basis – we plan on communicating important information with you weekly via your Bates inbox. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you haven\u2019t yet claimed your Bates network credentials from <\/strong>your Admission portal<\/strong><\/a>, please do so ASAP. This will allow you to login to your Bates Gmail account.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

First-Year Forms<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of First-Year Forms you need to fill out prior to attending Bates in the Fall are open as of today. All of these forms are accessed through Garnet Gateway. A schedule of the forms open and due dates is listed at the First-Year Forms<\/a> page on the First-Year Experience website. To login and access these forms, please go to the Quad<\/a> and then click on \u201cLog in to Garnet Gateway.\u201d These forms are mandatory and must be completed prior to your arrival on campus.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FYE Summer Resources Lyceum Page<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your Summer Resources Lyceum Page will help you prepare for the Fall 2025 semester, and is now open to you! We will release more resources throughout the summer. For example, on June 17, we will release resources that will help you prepare for your Fall 2025 course selection (that selection period will be from July 9 to July 23, 2025, and don\u2019t worry, every student new to Bates is assigned a personal summer course selection consultant and you will get an email from them on or near July 1 with more information).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You must review your FYE Summer Resources in their entirety as they are part of your First-Year Experience Program.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The key dates when more information will appear at your Summer Resources Lyceum Page are listed on the FYE Calendar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessing Lyceum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access Lyceum simply go here<\/a>, or go to the Quad at https:\/\/quad.bates.edu\/<\/a> and click on the bar labeled \u201cLyceum.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once at the Lyceum landing page, enter your username and password. Once you\u2019ve entered Lyceum, you will see a box labeled \u201cClass of 2029 Summer Resources.\u201d Click on it. This will bring you to a letter from us. After reading the letter, simply scroll down and you will see a tile labeled \u201cWelcome to the Bates Community.\u201d Once you click on this tile, a set of resources including a short video featuring Bates faculty, staff, and students will open. Please review these resources in the next few days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
