Club Sports at Bates are a great way to build community, challenge yourself, and stay active \u2014 whether you’re continuing a sport you love or trying something completely new.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bates offers 14 competitive club sports<\/strong> teams, including Rugby, Hockey, Water Polo, Soccer, Volleyball, Sailing, Ultimate Frisbee, Women\u2019s Lacrosse, Alpine Skiing, and Men\u2019s Basketball. These student-led teams compete against other colleges and offer a meaningful way to stay involved in athletics while building leadership, teamwork, and lifelong friendships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Want to learn more? Come to the Bates Leads Clubs, Orgs, and Jobs Fair<\/strong> on Wednesday, September 3rd at 8:00 PM<\/strong>, where you can meet team leaders and sign up for clubs that interest you. <\/strong>Rugby is one of our most storied club programs \u2014 known for its unmatched camaraderie, teamwork, and competitive spirit. Because it\u2019s a contact sport and begins early in the fall, students interested in rugby must complete a quick medical clearance process through Sports Medicine.
